Samantha Sin @samantha_theyogi
Samantha started her yoga journey in her early teens. She believes that yoga should be the union of mind, body and soul.
Samantha's teaching style is dynamic and fun. She encourages students to push their own limits and progress in a non-competitive way.
Samantha has been teaching for around ten years. She attained the highest qualification in yoga as ERYT500. She finished a lot of other certifications eg, Aerial Yoga, Yoga Wheel, Yoga Therapy, Advanced Yoga Teacher Training etc.
Sandy Hsieh @sandy_yilwen
Sandy is a Taiwanese raised in South Africa She started the practice of yoga in her young age. She travelled around the world and learned yoga from different international well known yoga teachers. Wishing to share her knowledge and incredible yoga journey, Sandy embarked on a path that led her to become a yoga instructor. Sandy then took her first teacher training with Yoga Beyond a few years ago.
Sandy is grateful to meet yoga in her life. The practice purified and cleansed both her mind and body, and she feels blessed to have this opportunity to teach. Whilst she believes the practice of asana is an extremely useful mind-body tool, the true benefits of yoga are gained when all facets of yoga are applied to daily life.
Joyce Fan @yogafanjoyce
Being part of the fast moving financial services machine, Joyce struggled to grow spiritually before her yoga journey commenced. Such journey brought her to another level in life and strongly motivated her to share her practice with the world.
Joyce's classes are playful yet challenging with easy alignment cues. She believes it is equally important to work on both flexibility and strength.
Leo Li @leonouleo2015
Working in the financial industry, Leo uses yoga as a tool to reduce work pressure while witnessing his own progress continuously. He encourages his students to embrace challenges and practice with wisdom on the mat. He believes that yoga teaching should be tailor-made based on an individual’s needs and physical conditions. His respectful teachers Patrick Creelman and Edward Chow have inspired him with precise alignment cues and skilful hands-on adjustments. Leo has been incorporating these knowledge and experience to his classes. In addition to yoga, he is also passionate about hand balancing, movement flow and street workout.
Cherrie Leung @chercherrie
Cherrie is a certified yoga and fitness instructor, completing her 200 hours Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2017 under the guidance of Patrick Creelman. She moved her career from a digital marketer to a full time yoga and fitness trainer. Cherrie enjoys teaching very much and has patience to teach especially for beginners. Her classes are conducted in both English and Cantonese.
In her classes, she loves guiding the students to listen their own bodies and do their best. She aims to provide better alignment on each pose to open up the space in the body. She believes by moving and stretching our own body, we will have a better understanding of ourselves because mind and body are always connected.
Shannen Li @sh.anyasa
Shannen’s yoga practise encourages student to be present and grounded. She believes that yoga is a way to discover one’s mind and body, and also a way to see different perspectives. Her lighthearted teaching style is dynamic, and focuses mostly on strengthening and balancing. This provides students an environment to challenge themselves, and breakthrough any comfort zones in a safe and controlled way.
She hopes that through her classes, she can inspire students to maintain their balanced lifestyle.
Jasmine Wu @jazz_jw
Born in Japan, started her career in Hong Kong. Jasmine works as a model/actress, this has taken her across Asia.
She took a break from her busy modelling schedule to dedicate time for yoga training in an Ashram, with an aim to teach adults and seniors. Jasmine was trained in a traditional Indian yoga style. She has been teaching students and communities via a holistic approach. She firmly believes that: "Yoga is a universal language across culture, generations, race and gender."
Judy Fong @judyogi
Judy has a total experience of yoga practice of seven years and recently completed 500 Hours Yoga teacher training. Yoga has changed every aspect of her life, and she hope to share her practice and the benefits of Yoga with others.
She would guiding the body and mind connection at the beginning of the class, leading students mindfully to be in the presence. Also synchronize each movement with breath and awareness. She would pay personal attention to students and highlight prevention to avoid injury.
Erica Tam @erica.the.yogi
Erica has been practising yoga since 2015 and she finished her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training at One Yoga. She is keen on exploring different yoga styles, ranging from healing classes like relaxing stretch, to dynamic classes like Vinyasa Flow. She believes that yoga is graceful and meditating practice to keep the body and the mind healthy and blissful.
In her classes, every asana would have various options available so it's always yogis' choice to challenge themselves or to enjoy the class in a relaxing manner.
Ida Hui @idahui_
Ida comes from a background in classic yoga , which being instructor with RYT 200 & barre intensive certification from 2019 . She believes that it is the best way to focus, learn to listen to your mind & body and fuel it with the things you love.
She enjoys the moments of body flowing around in order to reconnecting with both body & soul. So ~ Power Vinyasa & heart opening related flow will be decided on daily basis mostly.
Pauline Pung @pawflows
Rency begin practising yoga since 2010. At first she was only looking for stretching and hoping for some relaxing moment from the busy work life. However she then found her inner peaceful and happiness during the practice. She completed her 200-hour teaching training in 2017 in Thailand. The Training program bought her to the yoga world and she enjoys sharing her yoga a lot. In order to keep exploring her yoga journey, she went for the 300-hour teacher training with Beyond Bryce Yoga.
In her classes, you will find challenges as well as fun. Rency hopes her classes can help students to calm their mind, to feel energized and to find their true happiness. Wear your smile after the practice =)
Ffion Sum @sum_yogi
Constantly having a big smile on her face, Ffion is a cheerful person with positive energy. Ffion was raised in the UK. She practises both aerial yoga and ground base yoga. Last year, Ffion took a huge leap of faith and joined the teacher training program with One Yoga, and now is a certified yoga instructor. After that she hasn't stopped giving back. With a genuine heart of intent, Ffion looks forward to sharing and having others join her as she continues on this journey of exploration through yoga. Her positive vibes and soothing voice will put one at ease, leaving her class feeling tranquil and free.
Marsha Yip @marsha.y.oga
Marsha completed her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification with strong focus on alignments in Iyengar style.
She has also completed various trainings of teaching yoga in a healing and meditative way with anatomical principles. Her style is dynamic, fun and balanced, with an aim to help students build strength and flexibility with correct postures for the maximum safety and benefits. She loves encouraging students to challenge themselves with energizing and core-strengthening poses, while adding some restorative/ yin elements to class for a holistic experience.
Rachel Chen @msrachelyoga
Rachel is a Taiwanese. She completed her 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training in 2017. She also finished another 300 hours Advanced Teacher Training after that. As a cabin crew before, she was always under very high pressure with unstable working hours. She found yoga a very good way for her to truly relax. Yoga has inspired her to take risks and to grow inside out. Yoga motivates her to commit to a daily routine.
Through yoga, she has learned to find the balance between pushing beyond self limits and listening to her body. As an instructor, she hopes to enlighten others to see the benefits of yoga that she has experienced herself.
Alexandra Colgan @alexandracolgan
Although she’s always been an active person, Alex never really stuck to any sport or exercise until she first started doing yoga about 5 years ago. Through yoga, she discovered what it’s like to truly understand your own body and connect the power of breath with movement. Wanting to dive deeper into the practice, she decided to do her RYT200 teacher training with Samrat Dasgupta at PURE in 2020.
Alex likes to create classes that are dynamic, fun and challenging. She believes that there’s always something new to learn every time you step on the mat.
Hannah Chan @yogahanna_
Hannah graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing arts and she started practicing yoga in 2017. She completed 200-Hour Yoga and Aerial Yoga Teacher Training.
Hannah's teaching style is smooth and interesting. She is grateful to meet yoga in her life, the practice purified and cleansed both her mind and body.
She believes that we will have a better understanding of ourselves through the yoga practice.
Steffie Shum @yogisteffie
Steffie started practicing yoga in 2013 while she was on her working holiday in Australia. At first she was just planning to take it as a hobby, but throughout the years of practice she has found herself not only healthier but also happier.
Graduated in Samantha yoga last year for her RYT 200, Steffie decided to leave private jet industry to become a full time yoga instructor. She has also equipped herself with wheel and aerial teaching licenses. Attending Steffie’s class is fun and rewarding! Meet her on the mat and share the joy of yoga together :)
Makyo Chiu @yogimakyo
Makyo started her yoga journey from 2017. At the first beginning, she only treated yoga as an after-work fitness exercise. However, from time by time, she found that yoga not only can relief her physical pain and improve the body shape but yoga can also release her pressure from the stressful job.
After years of practice, she decided to have her first yoga teacher training in 2020; and then follow with teacher training on yoga wheel and aerial yoga.
She believes that Yoga is not only about Asana, it’s also about Pranayama and it’s a therapy to lead people to become conscious.
By teaching yoga, Makyo hopes to share the advantages of yoga practice, inspire students to improve wellness and have spiritual growth in order to maintain physical and psychological health.
Vivian Lee @flowithviv
A typical city dweller, with a fast-paced career in corporate finance law, Vivian was suffering from an anxiety disorder when she began her yoga journey and used it as an outlet to relieve chronic workplace stress. What was a hobby quickly turned into a passion as Vivian found serenity and peace in her practice.
Vivian completed her teacher training with One Yoga. She loves a dynamic and balanced practice coupled with a focus on the flow of movement. Through her classes she hopes to share her energy by creating both a challenging and relaxing environment, while guiding students to find mindfulness. She hopes her students will experience both empowerment and peacefulness through yoga practice.
Shereese Tsang @shereese.t
ERYT500, RPYT, YACEP
That was scoliosis bringing Shereese into Yoga, after heavily suffered at her teens. She could not believe Yoga came across in her path since then (10+ years and still counting).
Exploring her life full potential with Yoga, Shereese has committed into her study - attained ERYT500 as her highest qualification, go along with Pre and postnatal, Yin, Wheel, Aerial and Crystal singing bowl under her belt.
Shereese loves to explore anatomy and adaptation to different body types, always believing Yoga can improve your body, mind and soul.
Karena Cheng @ckarena
Karena has practiced ballet over 10 years which she got the advantage of stretching. She has been practicing yoga since 2018 and thought strength is a challenge, and now, she completed her 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training, Aerial Yoga and Yoga Wheel.
Karena believes that yoga is not only about self-improvement, but also about self-acceptance, through the practice to understand your body and mind, try to accept you are not perfect, but you are doing great!
Cavina Leung @a.nivaclife
Caca has stepped into the fourth year of yoga practice. She believes that many people work hard for their work or other matters, but it derives their time to take care of the body and soul. Yoga can provide them an opportunity to work out, communicate and understand themselves better. Through practice, you can listen to your body, calm your irritable thoughts, appreciate your persistence, and explore your room for improvement.
She is hoping to share her yoga and life experience with all of you in our lessons. Work hard together and become a more powerful self.
Heinok Fan @heihei.life
Heinok started her yoga practice 10 years ago with her family as a space to stretch and alleviate stress from school. She has been teaching since 2020, as she aspires for her students to walk out from a class feeling in complete bliss like she does as a student.
Heinok completed her 200 hour YTT here at One Yoga in 2020. She further completed a 50 hours training in Yin Yoga, and Tibetan singing bowl training in 2020.
As a keen learner and healthcare professional, she has always had particular interest in medical and wellness concepts - thus, you will find her class full of anatomical cues through her progressive flows. Her mission in life is to encourage others to use movement as a form of medicine. She hopes through her classes she can help others feel safe to be their authentic self in and out of class!
Joyce Cheng @joyoga.c
Joyce is a certified yoga instructor who has completed 200 hours yoga teacher training. She has also completed teacher training on Back Care yoga, Yin yoga, Dharma Wheel yoga, Tibetan Singing Bowl and Crystal Singing Bowl.
Joyce believes that yoga is a great way to cultivate physical strength, flexibility and balance. Balancing one’s Yin and Yang energy is important, so apart from strength and flexibility, mindfulness is also a key focus of Joyce’s class. Joyce thinks that yoga can help nurture one’s self-awareness, which is crucial for physical and mental health.
Joyce offers different options to students so her class is suitable for students of multi-level. She loves to encourage students to embrace themselves and step out from their comfort zone. She enjoys every moment on the mat and wishes to share the same with her students.
Chloe Lee @yogawithaa_
Chloe is graduated from Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts - Bachelor of fine arts (Dance). She is a certified RYT200 yoga teacher and aerial yoga teacher.
Chloe started learn and practice yoga in her college life. Practicing yoga made her feel peaceful , relax and calm. Through the RYT200 teacher training , she obtained more knowledge about yoga not only the postures but also the spirit and attitude. Chloe aimed to share what she learned and found in yoga to her students.
Mavis Lam @mav.yogi.is
Mavis Lam is currently a part time dancer, dance teacher and yoga instructor. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honors) Degree in Dance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Chinese Dance and dance education. In terms of yoga, she has completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teaching Training in 2020, and her Aerial and Wheel Yoga Teacher Training in 2021.
Her teaching focus on the connection of breathing and posture. Step by step helping students to understanding their own body and find their inner voice, but not only practice for the result.
Sherry Mak @yogawithsherry
Sherry has practiced yoga since 2016. At the very beginning, she just wanted to take a breath from work and release body tension. Little by little, she discovered the positive changes in body and mind throughout yoga practice thus decided to become a certified yoga instructor. She believes that yoga is a life long journey and would like to share the healthy vibe to the others through asanas and pranayama. She is specialized to teach mat and aerial yoga and also capable to adjust teaching methods to all levels of student.
